Documents needed for Postgraduates:

if you wish to study a post graduate program in any institution abroad, you might want to study in country such as Canada or USA, there are certain documents you need to make available to pass through the admission stage, they include

–              International Passport

–              WAEC or NECO result

–              Transcript

–              2 recommendation letters (from school and workplace)

–              Statement of purpose (SOP course specific)

–              Experience/appointment letter from the previous employer for Justify gap.

–              C. V

international passport:

you have to scan your international passport and be ready to upload on the school portal, or fill in the details on the student data page, this include the student name as it appears on the passport, the passport number, the issue date and the expiry date. in fact international passport is the most important document required to any cross boarder activity.

WAEC or NECO result:

high grade score is very important, even if you are applying for Phd. you will be required to show your Olevel Result, and provide a result checker for the institution to confirm your result.

Transcript:

this document explain your certificate of your post secondary degree, it comes with all the course offered, the grades and the GPA. you might be asked to provide a language conversion if the language it is presented in is not French or English.

Recommendation letters (from school and workplace):

you will required to provide two letter of recommendation from your school and from work pace. this will have to come from your lecturer and one from your boss from your place of work.

Statement of purpose (SOP course specific): 

statement of purpose, is a writeup that explain your reason for wanting to study the course of choice and in the country, talking about your background, drive and vision.

Experience/appointment letter from the previous employer to Justify gap.     

this is a short writeup that explain the education cap between year of graduation, work to the next education pursuit.

CV (curriculum vitae):

you CV will contain all information, skills, work history, education history and more. it also summarizes your work and academic drive.
